It was an amazing feeling when I left work yesterday. I went in around 6 and worked until I could safely say I could leave for a few days. Hitting send on that last page of my state survey felt really good. Now to all the stuff at home. I had to do tons of reading for school to make up for what I wasn't reading because I was still working. I worked in my garden for a short time while the kids played in their pool then enjoyed time to cook a real meal.
Today I actually went back to the basement... I still have to finish painting the hallway and do a major cleaning as we bring things in, but we did get some lighting hung in the family room which was an added bonus to having to flip a basement after a flash flood. I hope to be able to get the basement completely livable again by this weekend. I look forward to spending some afternoons this summer down their with the kids instead of in the living room. And a clean house is only a dream at this point. Maybe after class tomorrow, I will have a couple of days to dedicate to basement and housework :-). Then a good book is calling me!

Overworked
I have decided that there is not enough time in the week. I have worked at school, went to appointments, attended class, and chased kids this week. Last week our basement flooded and we had to completely clean it out so I have had very little sleep. Today I was supposed to take the kids swimming, but I was just too drained.
